No More Excuses, Let’s Accomplish Our Fitness Goals for 2019

If you are like most Americans, you probably made a list of goals you hope to accomplish in the year 2019. Similarly, most Americans throw that list out by the end of week 1 – but you’re not like most Americans in that department, you will see your resolutions through.

Let’s be fair, most of us work a lot so that we can afford to live well, getting to the gym can be a real pain in the rear. This article will focus on 5 household workout items that will make reaching your fitness goals much more attainable; the Chernov Team still encourages you to hit the gym when you are able but working out at home isn’t the end of the world either.

Let’s Go Cycling!

Indoor bicycles seem expensive, but the return on investment (“ROI”) is off the charts with an indoor bicycle. While Stairmaster and treadmills are certainly good alternatives, neither has the same whopping efficiency as an indoor bicycle.

Get Some Dumbbells and a Bench Press

Everyone loves the idea of having a solid upper torso, but not everyone loves the idea of going to the gym every single day to accomplish that goal; you can accomplish this from the comfort of your own home if you are diligent. For roughly $300 (6 months of gym membership), you can purchase everything you need to “get swole” from home.  Keep in mind that pretty much any exercise that can be done with free weights, can be done with exercise bands – it’s strange that these bands aren’t in everyone’s home gym (even if that home gym is the living room of our 1-bedroom apartment).

Resistance Bands Are Cheap, and They Get the Job Done

Given that we all just spent a chunk of money on Hanukah, Christmas, New Year celebrations, birthdays, and the like, you may not have boat loads of money just lying around for workout equipment; fear not, for $10 you can get some toys to get you started on your path to Mr. or Mrs. Universe.

TRX Stands for Total Badass Workout Stuff

Ok, I made up what TRX stands for. TRX utilizes your body weight paired with gravity to exercise core stability, flexibility, balance, and of course… strength.  For roughly $200 (4 months of gym membership), you can purchase a TRX Pro Suspension Trainer System and get started on your journey towards looking like a billy-badass Navy SEAL.

At the Chernov Team, we pride ourselves on understanding all things real estate, but we also pride ourselves on the caliber of clientele we cater to. Our clients work hard, and play hard, and we like to help with that aspect of their lives too. Being busy has many benefits, but excessive free time is not one of those benefits. Grab some home gym equipment, get to sweating, and we will see you at the beach in 7 months!
