Sherman Oaks

Sherman Oaks manages to blend just the right amount of the suburban lifestyle with urban influences. A touch of hipster cafes, boutiques and restaurants are just a few minutes away off of the Ventura Boulevard.

Two huge shopping malls, Westfield Fashion Square and Sherman Oaks Galleria, challenge one another in the opportunity to style you in LA’s most fashionable clothing trends. The Sherman Oaks Galleria is accountable for the filming and rise of the “Valley Girl”. Like, oh my gosh, like, awesome!

Back in the day, there were lines of soda shops, jukebox joints, drive-ins and walk-up eateries. Guess what? Some of those nostalgic places still exist today.

Sherman Oaks has some of the best restaurants in all of LA County. Did anyone say they love BBQ food? Well, Boneyard Bistro is the place to be with their killer ribs. Yummy! Mexican food? Casa Vega has the best margaritas and burritos around. Burgers and beers? Blue Dog Beer Tavern is just a stumble away from the Galleria and Arclight movie theater. Chinese Food? Oh yeah, Bamboo has been around for a long time and is rated a favorite by Zagat. How about a LA Bistro? Sweet Butter Kitchen is extraordinary with sandwiches, salads and cookies.

Sherman Oaks has the perfect family fun zones. Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park has baseball diamonds, basketball courts, jogging tracks and grassy areas perfect for a picnic. Also, Sherman Oaks Castle Park is fully equipped with arcade games, miniature golfing and batting cages.

Sherman Oaks is about 30 minutes away from LAX and Venice Boardwalk. 25 minutes away from The Grove and Santa Monica Pier.
